About Me

I am a 31-year-old, Canadian gal with a great husband and two (very) busy little boys (ages 1 and 3).

I have chosen to leave my career for the time being (or forever, who knows?!) and am doing the stay-at-home thing so I can be with my kids and there for my family.

I enjoy writing and am using Cashmere & Carrot Sticks as a way to feed this passion and keep the brain neurons firing while away from a formal job.

Most weeks I feel like a great Mom and enjoy doing all sorts of fun stuff with my kids, but occasionally I have weeks where I want to pull my hair out, throw my own temper tantrum or crawl into my bed and not come out for atleast 24 hours (like when all three of my boys got the stomach flu at the same time!).  I think this is normal (here's hoping).

Life is hairy, crazy and wonderful ... and I wouldn't change a thing.
