Happy New Year

Well, here it is - 2011! Can you believe it.

I remember a few years pre-2000 thinking and planning what would be the coolest way to ring in the new millenium ... and now it's 2011!  This whole year thing keeps on picking up speed.

The best thing about being a couple of time zones west of home when you are celebrating new year's is you can call everyone at 10 p.m., wish them well and then hit the sack before the clock strikes twelve.  I know, how lame! Yup, I guess so. I'm pre-writing this on the 23rd so we'll see what we actually got up to ... probably depend a lot on how the kids are adjusting to the time change.
